Master Logger Core Class 2024
The next Master Logger Core Class is set for Sept. 24 and 25, 2024, at the USDA, 3737 Government St., Building B, Alexandria, Louisiana. The cost of the program is $200 per person if registered and paid by Sept. 16, 2024. If you register on Sept. 16 or later, the cost is $320 per person. Payment can be made by check or money order and mailed to Gracee Texada, PO Box 5067, Alexandria, LA 71307. Please note that if paying by credit card, a 3% processing fee will be added.

Master Logger Core Class cannot be used for Continuing Education credit!
The link above will take you to the PDFs of the Forests of Exceptional Conservation Value (FECV) at the website of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries. The slide show is required for Loggers and Foresters trained under Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) standards. If you are a Master Logger or COFC Forester, you must review the document so that you know where to look for endangered and threatened species before making a harvest plan. Email Gracee Texada, Louisiana Logging Council administrator at gtexada@laforestry.com once the documents have been reviewed.

Master Logger Core Classes will be held at the USDA Building B, 3737 Government St., Alexandria, Louisiana.
Lunch is provided.
Pipeline Classes will be held around the state and are 2 CLE credits.

Master Loggers attending pipeline classes or police jury meetings or any other qualified Continuing Education classes must provide proof of attendance to Gracee Texada before receiving credit.
