Membership Information

Membership in the Louisiana Forestry Association is available upon payment of annual dues for a calendar year. Membership is obtainable by individuals, firms, corporations or other organizations having an interest in forestry. Minimum dues in the organization are $25 for individuals, but the following categories of membership have been established:

Tree Farmers and Landowners $.021 cents per acre or $25, whichever is greater
Equipment dealers, Service, Supplies Based on annual sales volume to forest industry
Less than $500,000 $100
$500,001 - $1,000,000 $500
$1,000,001 - $5,000,000 $750
More than $5,000,000 $1,000
Building material sales $100
Service and supplies $100
Forest products dealer $150
Forest product, producer, logger, contractor $50
Banks, insurance, savings and loan $150
Foresters $25
Consulting foresters Individuals $50
Corporate (firm w/multiple emp.) $150
Students $15
Individual Lifetime Membership $1,000
Individual Membership $25

Forest Products Manufacturers pay dues based on formula of Louisiana wood used in production and the amount and/or amount of forest land owned.
