It’s hard to count all the ways that forests improve our lives. They provide habitat for wildlife, recreational opportunities, and scenic beauty. The forests of our state prevent erosion and protect the quality of our watersheds. We know the importance of our forests and that is why we plant over 100 million seedlings each year.
