75 Years of Excellence in Forestry!

The Louisiana Forestry Association will celebrate its Diamond Anniversary when members meet Aug. 30 to Sept. 1, 2022, for its annual convention at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino Resort in Lake Charles. Tuesday, Aug. 30 the convention will be kicked off by the President's Reception to honor Louisiana Forestry Association President David Grassi.

Several speakers are set to for great presentations: Brooks Mendell, Ph.D., president and CEO of Forisk Consulting, will give a presentation on "Forest Industry Investments: New Demand and New Markets." Also, a panel of spokesmen from companies planning or re-starting mills in Louisiana will round out the General Session, sponsored by Weyerhaeuser, Canfor Southern Pine, Crosby & Land Resources, Hunt Forest Products, LaSalle Lumber Co., Manlife Investment, West Fraser and WestRock, on Wednesday morning.
