

26 parishes enact burn bans in Louisiana
Twenty-six parishes in Louisiana have banned burning due to very dry conditions. According to the Louisiana Department of Agriculture & Forestry (LDAF) website, fire danger is elevated in almost all parishes from the Interstate 10 corridor northward. Burn bans in 15 Louisiana parishes
Dedpite weekend rains, 15 parishes in Louisiana have established burn bans. According to the U.S. Drought Montior, an online service from the Natioanl Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, muche of the state is considered from abnormally dry to moderate drought conditions, as of Thursday, Oct. 16.
