Burn bans in 15 Louisiana parishes

Dedpite weekend rains, 15 parishes in Louisiana have established burn bans.
According to the U.S. Drought Montior, an online service from the Natioanl Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, muche of the state is considered from abnormally dry to moderate drought conditions, as of Thursday, Oct. 16.
Burn ban parishes generally run along the state's western border and into the central part of the state. As of Monday, Oct. 20, parishes that have issued burn bans included:
Acadia
Allen
Beauregard
Caddo
Calcasieu
DeSoto
East Feliciana
Evangeline
Jefferson Davis
Natchitoches
Rapides
St. Landry
Sabine
Union
Vernon
