Klays for Kids fundraiser set for Feb. 28

The second annual Klays for Kids Clay Shoot is set for Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at the Shreveport Gun Club.

The event is part of Log A Load for Kids, a special project of the Louisiana Logging Council that raises money and donates thousands of dollars each year to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. CMN hospitals help children with medical needs that families can't always afford.

Entry fee is $500 for each five-man team.

Klays for Kids sponsorships are available for anyone or their companies wanting to help put on the event:

• Platinum — $2,500 Tournament Sponsor Package — Tournament Named Sponsor and social media marketing, two 5-man teams, 10 raffle tickets per shooter and two advertising signs placed at station.

• Gold — $1,500 Sponsor Package — social media marketing, 5-man team, five raffle tickets per shooter, advertising sign at station.

• Silver — $750 Sponsor Package — social media marketing, 5-man team, advertising sign placed at station.

• Bronze — $150 Sponsor Package — Covers cost of one shooter and five raffle tickets.

• Raffle Packages — Raffle items gladly accepted.

Participants can pay on site or make checks payable to Louisiana Logging Council, please write Klays for Kids in the memo line on your check. Mail checks to: Louisiana Forestry Association, PO Box 5067, Alexandria LA 71307.
