Klays for Kids set Feb. 28!

The Louisiana Logging Council is putting on its second annual Klays for Kids Clay Shoot, it's fundraiser that helps the Children's Miracle Network in Louisiana.

Louisiana Loggers have long been big supporters of the hospital network that helps children with special needs. Over the past several years, Loggers have raised about $63,000 for the five network hospitals in the state. Klays for Kids Clay Shoot is another way, in addition to its Log-A-Load program, to help this worthy cause.

LLC's event is set for 7 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 at the Shreveport Gun Club. Participants can put a five-member team together for $500 entry fee; individuals can sign up for $100.

There are also ways for individuals or companies to sponsor the event so that more can be given to help CMN children:

• Platinum sponsors can support the tournament at $2,500. This Tournament Named Sponsor level gets included in social media marketing, registration for two 5-man teams, 10 raffle tickets per shooter and two signs placed at Station.

• Gold sponsors can suport the tournament at $1,500. This package gets social media marketing, a 5-man team registration and five raffle tickets per shooter and an advertising sign at Station.
