Last day for special LFA rate when booking hotel room for 75th annual meeting
Monday, Aug. 15 is the final day Louisiana Forestry Association members can get the special $139 per night to book a room for the 75th annual meeting!
The Diamond Anniversary event is set for Tuesday, Aug. 30 through Thursday, Sept. 1 at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino Resort in Lake Charles. Early bird registration ended on Aug. 10; however, the special room rate set up by the Golden Nugget ends today. It is best to book online by clicking the link below.
Anyone wanting to sign up for the meeting can register at the regular cost of $385 for a complete package or $325 for a Wednesday-Thursday package. Please be sure to sign up for two if you are bringing a spouse or a guest as every attendees requires having a paid registration.
You can register online by clicking on the link below. Please know that registration fees online have been adjusted to cover the processing fees charged by Constant Contact and an additional registration fee will be added through the payment processor, for a total more than 5%.
You also can download a registration form, fill it out and email it with your credit card information. That reduces the processing fee to only 3.5%. Or you can fill out the form and mail it with your check to the LFA office at PO Box 5067, Alexandria, LA 71307, and there will not be a processing. Please note that U.S. Postal Service delivery is slower now, so please allow time for delivery. Waiting too close to the registration deadline of Aug. 24 could risk it not arriving in the mail on time.
