MFFI puts forest management for families

The Morehouse Family Forest Initiative is a program that encourages owners of family forests in Northeast Louisiana and Southeast Arkansas to engage in active sustainable forestry practices.

The initiative is a partnership with public and private entities, including LSU, the Louisiana Forestry Association and the Arkansas Forestry Association, as well as private industry companies like Drax Biomass.

MFFI recently completed a promotional video, which it hopes to reach family forestland owners.
